The SALTWATER SCOR Working Group 172 will meet in person in Glasgow.

– Room LT907. Livingstone Tower (LT), 26 Richmond St. The venue is at walking distance from Queen St. Station and George Square in Glasgow city centre.
This meeting is scheduled to take place just before the Ocean Sciences Meeting, which will be also held in Glasgow the following week.
The meeting agenda will focus on advancing key research topics of the group, namely:
– Intercomparison of saltwater intrusion processes in estuaries and tidal rivers
– Impacts of open ocean and coastal processes on saltwater intrusion
Objective of this session is the detailed planning of the Working Group’s activities for 2026 and 2027, including outlining research initiatives, academic and training programas, and outreach and dissemination strategies.
